Tennille Bernard is a dynamic empowerment coach, strategic leader, and operations innovator known for her agility in launching and managing programs with impactful outcomes. A current student of The State of Black Arizona’s African American Leadership Institute, Tennille is the visionary behind Ascend: Circles of Excellence, a peer advisory council designed to empower women of color in leadership and founder roles. Through Ascend, she creates a supportive space for high-level corporate women and business leaders to build community, gain invaluable peer mentorship, and confidently navigate the intricacies of leadership. Her advisory groups foster collaboration, sisterhood, and professional growth, helping members reach new milestones in their careers. Beyond Ascend, Tennille is deeply involved in advancing leadership development across multiple platforms. As a senior consultant and freelance instructor with Project Plus Solutions, she delivers cutting-edge training and mentorship to professionals seeking to elevate their leadership and project management skills. Her work with the Forest Valley Institute includes lecturing on product management and strategic operations, allowing her to influence future leaders across industries. With a strong foundation in empathetic leadership, strategic planning, and building meaningful relationships, Tennille excels at driving lasting impact in every organization and community she touches. Tennille's career is marked by her commitment to empowering others, especially women of color in corporate environments. Her leadership style is rooted in authenticity, a deep sense of purpose, and a belief in the power of community-driven success. Acceptance into the African American Leadership Institute 2024 Cohort

The African American Leadership Institute (AALI) fosters the development of African American leaders through a transformative 10-week program. With a focus on leveraging participants' strengths and experiences, AALI cultivates leadership skills while addressing critical issues impacting the community. The 2024 theme, Emotional Brilliance, focuses on mastering emotional intelligence for equity.
